Makeup And Fashion Contest Attracts The Spirit Of Young People, Awaken The World Of Indonesian Mode

JAKARTA - Youth creativity can be channeled through various art contests such as fashion and makeup. Collaborating with 12 favorite fashion schools and 5 favorite makeup schools in Indonesia, fashion and makeup competitions are held with the aim of reviving the spirit of working among young people while enriching the development of the fashion world in the country after the pandemic.

This competition presents an interesting challenge for students and fashion and makeup school students to channel their creativity and talents. With the theme 'Province of Indonesia', where each school gets a different provincial/regional theme, participants are invited to combine innovative fashion concepts with regional and modern elements and represent the spirit of the young soul of each participant.

"We are very excited about this initiative. After this pandemic period, the Danfashion fashion industry is experiencing many challenges, and through this event, we hope to encourage young designers to continue working and contribute to the progress of the fashion world in Indonesia," said Henky Prabowo as Sales & Marketing Director of YOU wasteC1000.

In the grand final of this competition, the participants were given the opportunity to demonstrate their work by doing a fashion show and makeup show at the Grand Atrium Kota Kasablanka 22-24 November 2024. And this event also presents a very special grand prize: Fashion Trip to Hong Kong Fashion Week 2025 for the first winners of each participating fashion and makeup school.

The experience of seeing this international fashion show is expected to open insights, expand networks, and provide new inspiration to the younger generation of Indonesian designers.

"We believe that collaboration with these educational institutions can create a positive impact not only for individual participants, but also for the creative industry as a whole. This competition is expected to be a forum for young people to express themselves as well as bring new colors to modern industries," he concluded.
