KPK Calls Again The Chairman Of The South Kalimantan Provincial Government DPRD In The Bribery Case That Had Ensnared Uncle Birin
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned the Chairman of the South Kalimantan Provincial DPRD Supian HK as a witness in a bribery case that once ensnared former South Kalimantan Governor Sahbirin Noor or Uncle Birin today. This is the second summons.
"The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White building on behalf of SP as the chairman of the South Kalimantan Provincial DPRD," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters, Monday, November 25.
Tessa said Supian had not shown his nose in front of investigators for questioning. His arrival is still awaited.
"(Witness SP, ed) has not been present," he said.
As for this case, Supian was summoned on Tuesday, November 19. However, he was absent and no information was given.
As previously reported, the KPK has named five suspects in the bribery case for the procurement of goods and services in the South Kalimantan Province.
They are former Governor of South Kalimantan Sahbirin Noor alias Uncle Birin, Head of the South Kalimantan Provincial Government Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) Ahmad Solhan (SOL), Head of Cipta Karya as well as Commitment Making Officer (PPK) of the South Kalimantan Provincial Government Yulianti Erlynah (YUL), Management of Tahfidz Darussalam House as well as collectors of money or fees Ahmad (AMD) and Plt. Head of the Household of South Kalimantan Governor Agustya Febry Andrean (FEB).

However, the suspect's status as Uncle Birin was later dropped by the South Jakarta District Court (PN) for winning the pretrial. He sued the KPK because he did not accept being named a suspect.
Meanwhile, as the suspect givers, namely Sugeng Wahyudi (YUD) and Andi Susanto (AND) as private parties. A total of seven suspects were named by the KPK which began with a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Sunday, October 6.
This gift was made after Sugeng and Andi got three projects in South Kalimantan. The details:
1. Development of Football Fields in the Integrated Sports Area of South Kalimantan Province with selected provider PT WKM (Wismani Kharya Mandiri) with a work value of Rp23 billion; 2. Integrated Samsat Development with selected provider PT HIU (Haryadi Indo Utama) with a work value of Rp22 billion;3. Development of Swimming Pools in the Integrated Sports Area of South Kalimantan Province with selected provider CV BBB (Bunt Banua Bersama) with a work value of Rp9 billion.
