JCI Will Move Fluctuating Monday, Check Out Stock Recommendations
JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index is predicted to fluctuate in today's trading, Monday, November 25. Phintraco Sekuritas in its research estimates the JCI will move at 7,250 resistance, 7,200 pivot, and 7,150 support.
Phintraco Sekuritas explained that domestic economic data was relatively minimal this week. On the other hand, global economic data is quite solid this week. One of them is the minutes of the FOMC the Fed. As previously known, a number of high-ranking Fed officials provided clues for less-aggressive policy opportunities in 2025.
"JCI is expected to continue to fluctuate in the range of 7,150-7,230 this week," wrote Phintraco Sekuritas.
Phintraco Sekuritas added that doubts about the Fed Rate's cuts did not stop the Wall Street weekly strengthening rally last week. Nasdaq strengthened relatively limited as the significant weakening of Alphabet's share price fell 1.7 percent and Nvidia rose 3.2 percent. President Donald Trump's forward looking policy expectations pushed rotation into stocks that were more sensitive to economic growth.
"Meski demikian, imbal hasil bondasi Amerika Serikat (US) 10 tahun masih cukup tinggi di atas 4.4 persen sampai dengan Jumat 22 November," tambah Phintraco Sekuritas.
According to Phintraco Sekuritas, the above external conditions triggered capital outflows from the Indonesian capital market. In addition, the realization of Indonesia's economic growth below 5 percent (4.95 percent) in 3Q24 became the acceleration of capital outflows.
"The market is also worried about the direction of monetary policy in 2025," said Phintraco Sekuritas.
Phintraco Sekuritas assessed that the BI benchmark interest rate cutting room is expected to be more limited along with the weakening of the Rupiah exchange rate, expectations of an increase in inflation as the VAT increase plan becomes 12 percent and the market is still digesting the effectiveness of fiscal policy in reducing the potential negative impact of the previous two issues.
Phintraco Sekuritas recommends six shares for today, namely BBRI, BBNI, MBMA, BBTN, PTBA, and AUTO.
