Support Downstream Industry, PLN Distributes 1.1 Million VA To KSO
PT PLN (Persero) distributed electricity with a power of 1.1 million volt amperes (VA) to PT Khatulistiwa Sinergi Omnidaya (KSO) as a form of support for downstreaming the palm oil industry in Lamandau Regency, Central Kalimantan.
General Manager of PLN UID Central Kalimantan Ahmad Syauki said that with a power of 1,110,000 VA, the electricity supply from PLN is expected to be able to significantly increase the company's productivity.
"We believe that the reliability of electricity supply will be a key factor in supporting the efficiency and productivity of the palm oil industry," he said, quoting Antara.
He added that with the electricity supply of 1.1 million VA, the company can maximize its production capacity, while strengthening its contribution to the regional economy.
PLN UP3 Pangkalan BunPresly Silaen manager added that the success of the electricity distribution process could not be separated from the synergy between the PLN technical team and PT Khatulistiwa Sinergi Omnidaya.

He also emphasized that the readiness of electricity infrastructure, such as the Main Substation in Pangkalan Bun, is the main supporting factor in the provision of quality electricity.

He also explained that PLN's electricity supply provides significant efficiency in the company's operations.
"By using PLN electricity, we can save up to IDR 450 million per month because it no longer depends on diesel engines," said Danang.
This efficiency is also a big capital for business development, so it plans to increase the power of this company to 3 million VA.
