AHY: Take Advantage Of Demographic Bonuses For Indonesia Gold 2045
JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (Menko AHY) emphasized the importance of utilizing the ongoing demographic bonus that Indonesia will face to achieve Indonesia Gold 2045.
"We are facing a demographic bonus, the question is not the amount. The amount is large, Indonesia 70 percent from 2030 to 2040 will have a very productive population. So, we must take full advantage of the demographic bonus by preparing today's young generation with good capacity, with skills that are also adaptive to the demands of the 21st century," AHY said quoting Antara.
He underlined that the task of the state and government is to channel the great potential that the younger generation, especially Generation Z, has high creativity and great energy.
AHY also invited all elements of the nation to be optimistic about Indonesia's future. Coordinating Minister AHY said that optimism must always be accompanied by hard work and collaboration.
The message is let's always have a good attitude, think positively about Indonesia's future, towards the future of all of us. Because if we start with optimism, but it is always accompanied by hard work. I have a slogan that I always convey, drama big, work hard, never give up. So we have to have big dreams for ourselves, for our families, for society, for the nation and state," he said.
He also emphasized the importance of never giving up in facing challenges. The winning nation is not always in front or always successful, but rather the ones who are able to rise quickly from adversity and continue to adapt to the progress of the times.
"I think that if we all have that spirit, and with leadership, with the orchestration of national human resources, whatever the sector and profession, including across generations, I think Indonesia can really be a developed country, a great country, and gold in 2045. God willing, we can, "said AHY.
For information, the Minister of Manpower Yassierli said the development of human capital (human capital) is the key to realizing the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045, so that Indonesia is expected to have human resources capable of competitiveness.
According to him, the challenge of creating competitive human resources is increasingly complex, especially in the midst of technological advances and changes in the world of work.
All parties must focus on improving competence, digitization, and adaptive resilience in dealing with various changes as President Prabowo has always said.
