West Sumatra Police Ensure Police Suspect Police Shooting Processed By Law
The West Sumatra Regional Police confirmed that the suspect Dadang Iskandar (DI), the perpetrator of the shooting of a police officer at the South Solok Resort Police on Friday (22/11) was legally processed.
The victim in the incident was the Head of the South Solok Police Criminal Investigation Unit, AKP Ryanto Ulil Anshar, who died from a gunshot wound to the head.
"The case is legally processed by the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of the West Sumatra Police," said Head of Public Relations of the West Sumatra Police, Kombes Dwi Sulystiawan, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, November 23.
He said the shooter with the initials DI (57) is currently a suspect. DI is the Head of Operations at the South Solok Police, the same place as the victim.
The suspect is currently under full supervision by the personnel of the West Sumatra Police Ditreskrimum and is undergoing legal proceedings according to applicable procedures.

"We need to convey that the suspect is currently in good health and well, and the person concerned is being investigated intensively by the Ditreskrimum Polda West Sumatra," he explained.
He emphasized that the West Sumatra Police would process the case transparently.
