Launch Last July, VinFast Starts Sending VF 5 Models To Consumers In Indonesia
JAKARTA - After officially launching last July, VinFast, an automotive brand from Vietnam, began sending VF 5 electric cars to consumers in Indonesia, and the ceremony was held at the GJAW 2024 event.
VinFast Indonesia CEO Nguyen Thuy Linh, said he was very proud of the start of sending VF 5 units to consumers in Indonesia, especially since the car is classified as reliable, intelligent and suitable for consumers in the country.
"Through this dynamic urban vehicle, VinFast is committed to supporting Indonesian consumers in the green transportation revolution, and contributing to creating a better and more sustainable future," he said, in his presentation, at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Friday, November 22.
Closer to the VF 5 model, the electric car is the second model launched by the Vietnamese brand in Indonesia. In fact, in its home country this model contributes significantly to local sales.
Reflecting on this success, VinFast has ambitions to make VF 5 a mainstay model in Indonesia by carrying three main pillars, consisting of premium quality vehicles, affordable prices, and the best after sales policy.
In design, this one model combines a solid and compact feel and is also equipped with the best safety features that can make users more comfortable and calm while driving.

VF 5 has power with a 70 kW electric motor (equivalent to 94 HP) and the Torque is 135 Nm. Equipped with a Lithium 29.6 kWh battery. Customers can recharge the battery from 10 to 70 percent in just 34 minutes. Regarding the distance, it reaches 260 km with WLTP calculations.
This one model is available in Indonesia at a price of IDR 286,450,000.000 million (with a battery purchasing system), and IDR 218,250,000 (with a battery subscription scheme) for promotional prices. This brand with the logo V offers flexible purchasing options, and can select battery subscription packages starting from IDR 990 thousand per month.
To overcome user concerns, VinFast also provides an attractive resale value guarantee. Vehicles that have been used for 6 months will be priced at up to 90 percent of the initial price, after one year at 86 percent, after two years at 78 percent, and after three years at 70 percent.
