10 People Killed In Afghanistan's Baghlan In Armed Group Attack

Ten people were killed in an attack by armed groups in the northern Afghan province of Baghlan.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Home Affairs Abdul Mateen Qaniee said it was not clear who was behind the attack on Friday, November 22.

The Taliban took over the country in 2021 and pledged to restore security in the war-torn country. Attacks continue, many of which are claimed to be carried out by the Islamic State militant group (ISIS).

As reported by Reuters, in September, 14 people were killed and six others injured in an attack claimed by ISIS in central Afghanistan.
