Enzo Maresca Can't Wait To Return To Leicester This Weekend
JAKARTA - Chelsea will visit Leicester City headquarters, King Power, in the 12th week of the 2024/2025 Premier League, Saturday, November 23, 2024.
The match was very emotional for the Blues coach, Enzo Maresca. As is well known, the Italian coach was the manager who brought Leicester to win Championships last season and promoted to the Premier League.
Maresca was only appointed Chelsea coach on May 31, 2024, aka earlier this season.
This means that the meeting between Chelsea and Leicester will be Maresca's first match against his former team and at home for a long time.
Because of that, the 44-year-old manager is very excited and impatient to fight his former club.
There was no hatred when Maresca left King Power. In fact, he admitted that he still often spoke with teammates at Leicester and high-ranking officials.
