Putri Ariani Summarizes Musical Journey Through The First Album Evolve, With Crown As The Mainstay Song

JAKARTA - The long wait was finally finished. After more than six years released a single and collaborating with international musicians, Putri Ariani offered a first full album titled "Evolve".

This album presents 15 songs that are dominated by lyrics in English. One third of the material has been released first as a single, namely "Loneliness", "Perfect Liar", "Teruskan Langkah Baikmu", "Senyumannya Tutupi Semua Lelah", and "Sheepish". While the rest is a song that has just been played to the public, namely "Stay With Me", "If Love Was Never There", "It's a Game", "Hey, How Are You", "So Goodbye", "Wishing You Were Here" , "Nusantara (Land of the Brave)", "See You Again", "Crown", and "Tetaplah Disini".

"Evolve" was conceptualized by summarizing the music journey of Putri Ariani, ranging from participants in the talent search event to becoming a singer who explored a variety of music styles and song writing with typical themes, such as defending and rising from challenges, hopes, and self -discovery.

"Crown" was appointed by Putri as a focus track. This song is written and produced by herself, as a bearer of enthusiasm to achieve success and realize dreams into real.

"That spirit is what makes us to continue to evolve, or develop," Putri Ariani said through a press release to Voi, Friday, November 22.

This focus track is written with lyrics that are the conditions for burning enthusiasm, coupled with UPTEMPO arrangements that combine rock elements and electronic dance music (EDM).

"Crown 'is the song about a burning spirit. For Putri, style like this is suitable to bring the spirit to friends who listen to it," said the 18-year-old song singer.

Putri calls this flagship song tells how we as humans must be brave to dream and process. This story is directly related to her journey as a musician.

"Whatever happens now and in the future, We Always Got Our Crown," Putri said.

"(This song) Reminder also for Putri to always be enthusiastic, focus on doing something, and on fire in a positive context," She added.

"Crown" was also presented in the video music directed by Putri's father, Ismawan Kurnianto. Like the theme of the song, Putri explained that this music video tells about the depiction of the process of learning, trying, patient, consistent, to success.

"The portrayal of clips with the nuances at the beginning of the dark, dancers who are still unclear direction, then begin to go to a brighter and more colorful transition," Putri said, describing the flow of the music video "Crown".

"Evolve" as proof, will be released exclusively in the United States

Putri made "Evolve" as proof of the musical process that wanted to continue to develop. She mentioned many of her feelings that were poured and recorded on this album.

"Evolve if interpreted means (is) developing in good matters. This album, for Putri is my process to develop (by) trying to expand the market with English songs, and many moods for the song also continue to grow with new songs that Putri wrote," she said.

In addition to "Crown" which is a mainstay, Putri also appeared special in the song "If Love Was Never There", by inviting her sister, Devina Elysa as a duet friend.

This song is very personal, because it tells about the outpouring of the hearts of women's younger siblings; Devina Elysia and Vania Larissa, about their longing when her sister rarely was at home to perform singing.

"Finally, Putri and Devina duet together at 'If Love Was Never There', and that is a very touching experience for us," said the singer dropout America's Got Talent

Different from the previous release, Putri will hold the launch of the album "Evolve" through an event titled "Evolve Charity Gala" which will take place in California, United States on Saturday, November 23 at 17.00 (5 pm) local time.

The event which was supported by the Indonesia Net Market (INM) and the Javanese Plus Association (PJP) not only for the launch of the album, but also included charity activities.

The fans in Indonesia can watch the exclusive launch of "Evolve" through live streaming on the Putri Ariani Youtube channel on Sunday, November 24 at 10:00 WIB.

With the release of this debut album, Putri hopes that "Evolve" can be enjoyed by many people, the songs can resonate with the listener, and can be sung together.

"And, certainly Bismillah, hopefully 'Evolve' can be accepted and liked by many people, both in Indonesia and in the international market," she said.
