Toddler Drowning In Cibinong River, Bogor Found Dead In Jakarta

BOGOR - Toddler with the initials FRA (3) who disappeared while hunting for crabs in Ciluar River, Sukahati Village, Cibinong, Bogor Regency, West Java, was found in the West Kali Canal Tomang, West Jakarta.

Members of the Bogor Sar Alert Unit Basarnas Muhammad Rizaldy revealed that FRA was found dead at around 14:00 WIB.

"Yes, found in the West Tomang Canal River, West Jakarta. The discovery of a corpse with characteristics that approximately resembles the victim sought," said Rizald, Thursday, November 21.

He explained that after the FRA was reported to have swept away, his party divided three Search and Rescue Unit (SRU) teams to conduct searches.

The team was deployed to several points. This was done because at the time of the incident the water was in a heavy condition due to the rain.

For the first SRU team, said Rizaldy, conducting a sweep using rafting up to a meeting with the Ciliwung River of approximately 3.7 kilometers.

Then the second SRU team, he continued, carried out exports which also reached 3.7 kilometers to the banks of the Ciliwung River.

"For the third SRU team, they dived 5 meters in suspected spots," explained Rizaldy.

Entering 14:00 WIB, Rizaldy revealed that his party had received a report that FRA had been found dead.

Previously, the Commander of the Bogor Sar Alert Unit, Ahmad Nur Imana, said that based on information from FRA friends who were around the scene, FRA at that time slipped into the Ciluar River while looking for crabs around 14.00 WIB, last Wednesday.

"So there was a witness, the witness was a small child, namely his friend who saw his friend being carried away by the victim while looking for the crab," said Ahmad.
