Pertamina Completes National Strategic Project At LPG Bima Terminal
JAKARTA - The National Strategic Project (PSN) for the construction of the LPG Bima Terminal assigned by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) to PT Pertamina (Persero) through PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, has been fully completed.
Director of Engineering and Land Infrastructure of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Eduward Adolf Kawi said that with the LPG Bima Terminal infrastructure, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga is committed to strengthening the reliability of the LPG distribution in Eastern Indonesia.
The LPG Bima Terminal development project is a tangible manifestation of Pertamina's commitment to strengthening national energy security. We really appreciate the escort and security from PPS Jamintel, the Indonesian Attorney General's Office, which ensures that this project runs according to GCG. With the completion of this project, the NTB community LPG needs can be guaranteed more reliable," said Eduward, Thursday, November 21.
Eduward added that the LPG Bima Terminal began to commission at the end of December 2023 and since early January 2024 has been operating regularly.
This infrastructure is one of the boosters of LPG distribution to meet the energy needs of the people in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) which was previously distributed by sending tank skids using a landing craft tank (LCT) from Lombok LPG Terminal to Sumbawa Island.
"The PSN settlement is important because the impact is very large in providing benefits to the community, namely the availability of fair energy to all corners of Indonesia," added Eduward.

The PPS program is implemented to ensure that projects are free from various Threats, Disturbances, Obstacles, and Challenges (AGHT). With the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), this project was successfully completed on time and in accordance with its original goals.
As a sign of the end of escort and security, the exit meeting which became an evaluation and appreciation for the success of this project, the Director of PPS Jamintel at the Indonesian Attorney General's Office Irene Putria conveyed that all AGHT faced during the project implementation were successfully mitigated together, so that the project went according to plan and provided great benefits for the community.
