Qualification For The 2026 World Cup In The Oceania Zone Completes The Second Round
JAKARTA - The 2026 World Cup Qualification Zone Oceania has completed the Second Round on November 18, 2024.
Four teams advanced to the Third Round with a single match knockout system. The four teams came from winners and runners-up in Groups A and B.
New Caledonia and Fiji represent Group A, while New Zealand andester come from Group B.
New Caledonia emerged as winners of Group A after three matches without defeat. they beat Papua New Guinea (3-1), beat theharm Islands (3-2), and drew 1-1 against Fiji.
Then, Fiji accompanied Caledonia Baru as runner-up with five points without losing.
The results were obtained from a 1-0 victory versus the Assembly Islands, a 3-3 series against Papua New Guinea, and a 1-1 draw against New Caledonia.

The Third Round final is scheduled for March 24, 2025. The team that loses in the top match will get a playoff ticket between Confederations to fight with one representative each of the confederations fighting for one ticket to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
