This BYD Dolphin And Wuling BinguoEV Competitor From Dongfeng Is Marketed Starting At IDR 357 Million
JAKARTA - Chinese automotive manufacturer Dongfeng will inaugurate sales from the Box model in Malaysia through the official distributor of Central Auto Distributors which will take place on November 22.
Launching from Paultan, Wednesday, November 22, this car is offered in two variants, namely E2 and E3. Type E2 as the lowest priced at 100,700 ringgit (Rp357.7 million) and E3 worth 113,700 ringgit (Rp403.8 million). Dongfeng also provides a two-tone color option for this car which increases the price to 115,700 ringgit or Rp411.2 million.
From the design side, this one electric car looks simple with the long front list that looks like it spreads to the light, and the logo is on the front. Meanwhile, the back also has the words Dongfeng with a round light display.
Entering the cabin looks futuristic with the use of layered imitation skin, there is a wide screen and also some physical buttons on the steering wheel, which makes it easier for users to control the vehicle.
Other features offered in this compact car are automatic air-conditioning, frameless rear-view mirror, 360 degree camera, 32 color ambient lighting, six audio speakers, and much more.
In addition, this brand also does not forget in terms of security by presenting ADAS consisting of autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane centering assist, traffic sign recognition, and traffic sign recognition. However, the Box model is available with two airbags for all types.

These two variants have a single electric motor on the front with a power of up to 95 ps and a torque of 160 Nm which produces a maximum speed of up to 140 km/hour.
The difference between E2 and E3 models lies in the lithium battery capacity, where the basic model (E2) comes with a 31.45 kWh package with a distance of up to 330 km, while for those in Malaysia E3 which packs a larger 42.3 kWh battery, a slightly better fate with a range of 430 km.
After the neighboring country, this car has the potential to enter several markets including Indonesia. With its tiny size, the Dongfeng Box is expected to be a competitor to BYD Dolphin and Wuling BinguoEV.
