MMKSI Invites Customers In Balikpapan And East Kalimantan To Feel The Sensation Of Driving All New Triton On Offroad Tracks
PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) in collaboration with the official Mitsubishi Motors DWINDO group dealer in Balikpapan, invited 50 consumers from Balikpapan and East Kalimantan Province to experience the resilience of Mitsubishi All-New Triton on the off-road track.
Taking place in Batu Ampar, North Balikpapan District, Balikpapan City. MMKSI and Dealer provide a total of 5 units of All-New Triton consisting of the DC HDX and DC GLS variants which are variants with the largest sales composition on the All New Triton model.
"In general, Mitsubishi All-New Triton comes with a significant increase and surpasss a car, which not only supports business, but also accompanies customers' life adventures to improve quality and achieve their life goals," said PT MMKSI President Director Atsushi Kurita, in an official statement received on Wednesday, November 20.
In the test drive session, participants are given the opportunity to drive on the routes provided, such as a flat offroad path where participants are given the opportunity to feel the sensation on the road, and try different experiences using new engines that are more powered by torques that exceed the initial round.
In the GLS variant, wheel drive mode can be operated easily using the Dial Selector at speeds below 100 km/h. Meanwhile, in the HDX variant, the wheel drive mode can be operated with a lever system, which is preferred for business support operational cars, with the same transmission options.
Furthermore, participants are presented with an uneven track where the speed is 10-20 km/h. On this occasion, the sensation of the model's toughness is due to the improvement in the chassis framework, which increases the strength, durability, and safety of vehicles, especially with a chassis cross section of 65 percent larger than the previous model.
Participants can also understand the height of the Mitsubishi All-New Triton ground clearance which reaches 222 mm, which is very helpful in off-road driving. In addition, the improvement in the suspension system increases driving stability and improves overall performance.
In addition, there are also various obstacles such as mud puddles, and side ramps with tilted surface tracks. Mud puddles are about 3 meters long with depths ranging from 10-30 cm. Drivers can take advantage of the Rear Differential Lock feature, to help maintain TRAction when tires slip on uneven and slippery road contours.
"We hope that consumers in Balikpapan and East Kalimantan can enjoy today's event, explore and get to know All New Triton better, because of the importance of East Kalimantan as an area with a 23 percent sales contribution, which is currently the biggest contributor to sales of this model nationally," he concluded.
