Suicide Car Bomb Explodes Security Post In Pakistan, 11 Soldiers Killed

JAKARTA - The suicide bombing detonated a security post in northwestern Pakistan causing 11 soldiers to die.

Citing AP, Wednesday, November 20, the bomb was detonated in a car driven by a suicide bomber on Tuesday, November 19 evening local time.

This explosion has been the most devastating over the past few months amid the heated security situation in Bannu District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, over the past few months.

The Hafiz Gul Bahadur group, which is said to be a splinter faction of the Pakistani Taliban, issued a statement containing responsibility for the attack.

The Pakistani government has yet to comment on the statement of the attack.

However, the country's security and intelligence officials said they were carrying out operations targeting the Hafiz Gul Bahadur group that organized the attack.
