Trends Of Global Tourism Destinations 2025, Two Asian Locations Enter Top 10 List

JAKARTA - Soon to enter a new year, namely 2025. Various new trends are predicted to occur in 2025, including the most popular tourist trends later.

The Booking.com ordering site recently released a list of tourist destinations that will become the most trending in 2025. These results were obtained from ordering data between August 1 and October 31, 2024, for the inpatient period between December 1, 2024, to February 28, 2025.

Launching Time Out, through this data, a list of destinations was found that were most ordered to be visited by tourists. Of the 10 lists distributed, two of them are in Asia.

Destinations in Asia who are third on the list are Hainan Island, which is located in China. On the island there is Sanya, a very beautiful beach.

Sanya Beach attracts a tourist search of up to 85 percent. This beach has beautiful white sand, a historic place rich in culture, exciting games, and luxurious resorts around it.

Another tourist destination in Asia that is included in the list is Naha in Okinawa, Japan. The place is in seventh position.

Naha is a city that functions as a gateway to the entire island and offers unique charm in Japan. In this place there is the Shuri Palace, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a former royal palace.

In Naha there is also the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, which is one of the largest aquariums in the world. Then there is a beautiful beach, various interesting and exciting festivals, as well as seasonal activities, one of which is like seeing the bloom of the sakura flower.

Meanwhile, on the list of the most trending tourist destinations in 2025, which is in first place is Jo wayap Pessoa, a port town in northeastern Brazil. This place topped the list of trend destinations in 2025 with searches soaring to 126 percent.
