Sampang Police Chief Confirms To Completely Investigate Case Of Stabbing Ketapang Laok
Sampang Police Chief AKBP Hendro Sukmono confirmed the investigation of the case of stabbing supporters of the regent candidate in Ketapang Laok Village to completion, asking all parties to refrain and hand over the settlement of the case to the authorities.
"What is clear is that the legal process for the parties suspected of being involved in this incident will be carried out firmly and transparently so that justice can be upheld," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 19.
Therefore, he requested that all parties refrain from taking countermeasures.
The police chief emphasized that the role of all parties such as community leaders, religious leaders and religious organizations has an important role in contributing to creating a peaceful situation in Sampang Regency.
"We certainly really hope that the support of all elements of society, so that there will be no more incidents as happened in Ketapang Laok Village, Ketapang District," he said.
