Foreign Minister Araghchi In Front Of The Commander Of The Iranian Revolutionary Guard: Preparedness To Fight To Prevent War

JAKARTA - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi argues that war readiness is something that prevents the country from engaging in war.

Speaking at a meeting of commanders and officers of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Tuesday, Foreign Minister Araghchi said to prevent war, it is necessary to " unambiguously state your strength and readiness and show that you are ready to fight."

"What prevents war is actually war readiness, and it should be noted that if the slightest sign of fear is shown in situations where there is a threat of war, you have actually imposed war on yourself," he stressed.

He further said Iran was entitled to respond to Israel's latest aggression against the country and would act at the right time and in the right way.

On the same occasion Foreign Minister Araghchi said the True Promise 1 Operation and True Promise 2 carried out by the IRGC were Iran's defensive reaction to the previous aggression carried out by the Zionist regime.

"We officially announce to the international community that the latest Zionist regime aggression is a new aggression and deserves a response," he said.

According to Araghchi, Iran has acted with full calculation and calm in the past 12 months or more to avoid an expansion of the war.

However, he argues it is important to respond to the Israeli regime's aggression so they don't conclude they can just escape after attacking Iran.
