Basuki Reveals Prabowo's Directions On IKN: ASN Moves 2025, Settlements Of Judicial And Legislative Offices 2028
JAKARTA - Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) Basuki Hadimuljono conveyed directions from President Prabowo Subianto regarding the development of IKN. This directive consists of two timelines, namely for 2025 and 2028.
Basuki said that next year the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) will be transferred to IKN. He also admitted that he had coordinated with the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Rini Widyantini.
"There are two timelines, 2025 and 2028. In 2025 I have coordinated with the Menpan RB regarding the certainty of the initial move from ASN," said Basuki at the Bappenas Ministry, quoted on Tuesday, November 19.
Basuki said, for offices and residential areas, 47 towers for ASNs will be completed by December 2025. However, this ASN transfer will be carried out in stages.
"I have to report any offices that are ready or not offices, all of them are ready. However, how many echelons I have, how many echelon II, and how many staff. Including housing," he said.
Meanwhile, for 2028, said Basuki, based on the direction from President Prabowo, the development of legislative and judicial infrastructure will be completed, including for housing and roads.
"Filling offices and residences, judiciary, MK, MA and so on as well as offices and legislative residences of the DPR, DPD, MPR. Including the streets," he explained.

Furthermore, said Basuki, regarding the occupancy and offices available in IKN, the number is currently in accordance with the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet in the era of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) as many as 36 ministries.
However, he ensured that he would carry out additional construction to adjust the number of Prabowo's Red and White Cabinet, which was 48 ministries.
"Of course, with the ministry adding 48, yes, 36 are ready. In accordance with the number of ministries in the Red and White Cabinet, it will be 48. Later we will definitely have to add the house," he concluded.
