Tokocrypto And OCBC Launch Tokocrypto's Global Debit Card
JAKARTA - Tokocrypto, Indonesia's leading crypto exchange platform, together with PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk (OCBC) officially launched the Tokocrypto Global Debit Card.
Tokocrypto's global debit card launch is based on the potential growth of crypto transactions which reached IDR 426.69 trillion as of October 2024, and also digital banking transaction growth reached 34.43% (yoy), and Electronic Money transactions grew 29.11% (yoy).
In addition, this initiative is designed to attract the interest of the younger generation, Web2 and Web3 segments with various superior benefits and features. Because customers will have practical payment solutions with non-trouble cross-border transaction profits.
"By using Tokocrypto's Global Debit card, customers can enjoy a contemporary lifestyle but still have a suitable financial condition by becoming a smart-spender," said Chinni Yanti Tjhin, Retail Proposition Division Head of OCBC at the Indonesia Blockchain Week (IBW) 2024 event on Tuesday, November 19 in Jakarta.
Chinni also mentioned that this card is equipped with multi-currency features, with 12 currencies in one account including IDR, USD, AUD, SGD, JPY, EUR, HKD, CHF, NZD, CAD, GBP, and CNH.

Yudhono Rawis, CEO of Tokocrypto, also said that this collaboration is an important step in connecting the banking sector and the crypto industry in Indonesia.

This Tokocrypto Global Debit Card allows customers to make transactions globally with merchants and ATMs bearing the MasterCard, Cirrus and Maestro logos.
