NTB Police Stop Case Of Erotic Dancer The Plaza Karaoke

MATARAM - The West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police have stopped the investigation into the alleged erotic dancer who appeared at a nightclub in the Mataram City area, namely The Plaza Karaoke & Lounge Lombok.

"Yes, it is true (the investigation was stopped)," said Director of General Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimum) of the NTB Police, Kombes Syarif Hidayat, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 19.

His party stopped handling this case because there was not enough evidence related to the element of pornography.

He said investigators had also listened to the opinion of a criminal expert who stated that the dancer's action in the hall of the nightclub did not fulfill the criminal element of pornography.

"Expert information, because the elements have not been fulfilled. The pornographic element," he said.

From the investigation, his party only found a violation of the permit. The actions of erotic dancers who violated the permit have also been confirmed by the Mataram City Government (Pemkot).

"When it comes to permits, there are violations there, we have asked the city government, so there is a violation of the permit," he said.

For further handling of the violation of the permit, Syarif ensured that his party had forwarded it to the Mataram City Government, considering that the issue of permits was related to regional regulations.

"Because this (permit) is related to the regional regulation, we will submit further handling to the city government," he said.

In handling it, the police previously questioned the manager of The Plaza Karaoke & Lounge Lombok, and erotic dancers.

The police have also obtained documentary evidence in the form of photos and videos that confirm the alleged appearance of erotic dancers at The Plaza Karaoke & Lounge Lombok.

This case first emerged after a five-second video featuring erotic dancers in underwear spread through chain messages on the WhatsApp application.
