COVID-19 Update As Of April 10: 4,723 New Cases, 3,629 Cured
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released additional positive cases of the latest COVID-19 as of today. New cases as of today reached 4,723 people.
While cases recovered increased by 3,629 people. Meanwhile, the number of positive confirmation cases of the deceased increased by 95 people.
The province with the newest cases was in West Java with 997 new cases and a total of 257,831 cases. Then, DKI Jakarta 977 cases, and the total cases reached 391,567. DKI is the province with the most cases of COVID-19 in Indonesia.
Then, Central Java 280 new cases, and the total cumulative cases reached 173,515, East Java 277 new cases, with a total of 142,305 cases. Riau with 265 new cases and a total of 36,804 cases.
7 provinces reported the addition of new cases under 10 namely Maluku, Southeast Sulawesi, and North Sulawesi with 1 case each. Then, West Sulawesi 3 cases, North Maluku 4 cases, Gorontalo 7 cases and Jambi 8 cases.
The province with the most cured cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an increase of 826 cured cases. Following West Java with an increase of 477 cases. Then, followed by Central Java 315 cases, and East Kalimantan 247 cases.
"The highest cases of death were in East Java 28 people. Followed by Yogyakarta, West Java and DKI Jakarta with 7 people each and South Sumatra with 6 people", as quoted from the Ministry of Health, Saturday, April 10.
Besides, the number of specimens examined as of today is 64,091. Cumulatively it reached 13,323,866. The details were 12,411,072 examined by RT-PCR, 166,639 by TMC method and 710,515 antigens.
"For the number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspect case, it is recorded at 59,139 people", he said.
Then, the weekly positivity rate from April 4 to 10, 2021 is 10.99 percent. While the positivity rate of people daily 10.81 percent.
Currently, people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination increased by 171,155 people and the total reached 9,955,433 people, and the second dose vaccination was 107,293 people, the cumulative total reached 5,050,524 people. Meanwhile, the target vaccination target reached 40,349,049 people.
