Indonesian National Team Supporters Militant Make Saudi Arabian Coach Salut
JAKARTA - Saudi Arabia coach, Herve Badminton, will escort his squad against the Indonesian national team in the 2026 World Cup Qualification Third Round match.
The Green Falcon has been in Jakarta since November 15, 2024 and is feeling the atmosphere of Indonesian supporters. Herve was made to salute with extraordinary militancy and enthusiasm.
Arriving at Soekarno-Hatta Airport after landing, Herve and his squad witnessed firsthand how the Indonesian fans welcomed them, as well as when they had a training session in the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) area.
"Indonesia is very excited about football, yes, salute to you," said God willing, opening a press conference session in SUGBK, Jakarta, on Monday, November 18, 2024.
On the same occasion, the French coach also mentioned the fierce competition in Group C, except for Japan which is comfortable at the top of the standings.
"First of all, this is one of the remaining five matches we will undergo. Competition is very tight between the participating teams, except for Japan at the top."
"To qualify for the World Cup, it will be difficult for all teams. I think tomorrow will be a difficult match for us."
