Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim Comes With 200MP Camera? This Is The Latest Leak

JAKARTA - The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim has just been listed in the IMEI database, indicating the presence of a new model from the Galaxy S25 line. Leaks also mentioned a possible 200MP camera feature, similar to a more sophisticated Ultra variant.

According to GSMA IMEI data, devices with the SM-S937U model number are registered as the 'Galaxy' device. This model is estimated to be the fourth variant in the Galaxy S25 series, complementing the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra.

A report from Smartprix shows that the Galaxy S25 Slim is likely to launch in the next six months, in line with previous rumors that it debuted in April 2025.

The initial leak states that the Galaxy S25 Slim can adopt the 200MP ISOCELL HP2 camera sensor previously used on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, S24 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Fold SE. If these rumors are true, the Slim model will carry flagship class camera features in a slimmer design.

However, the Jukanlosreve leaker denied the rumors, saying that Samsung's Galaxy S25 Slim specifications had not been confirmed.

A report from ETNews reveals that the Galaxy S25 Slim is designed to compete with the iPhone 17 Air. Apple is rumored to be replacing the iPhone Plus variant with a new, slimmer model.

The iPhone 17 Air is predicted to have a single rear camera design that is different from usual, at a potentially more affordable price than the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Samsung is also reportedly testing a new design for the Galaxy S26 with limited production on the Galaxy S25 Slim. This could mean that the design of the Galaxy S25 Slim will be the first step towards major changes to the Galaxy S series in the future.

With rumors of advanced camera features and thinner designs, the Galaxy S25 Slim offers its own appeal amid competition with other premium devices. However, until the official announcement from Samsung, the specifics of the details and superior features remain a question mark.
