Residents' Brawls In Duren Sawit Are Increasingly Stabbing, Buildings Are Burned Due To Molotov

The puffs of smoke and sparks from firecrackers and Molotov fire were thrown by the brawlers around the gate of RW 01 in the Kebon Singkong area, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, causing a stir for a number of residents.

Residents are worried that the sparks will spread to other residents' homes.

"Fire, fire. Fire post, yes, fire," said Nita, a resident of the cassava kebon area hysterically, Monday, November 18, evening.

The puff of smoke and sparks suddenly made the residents of Kebon Singkong run away. The concentration of the residents was divided because the fire seemed to be getting bigger.

Meanwhile, Amin, a resident of Kebon Singkong, also said the same thing. He was worried about the routine brawl between residents.

"Hopefully the brawl will subside, sorry for the other residents. Children and grandmothers whose houses are on fire, who don't know anything, feel sorry for them. Please take care of the police as much as possible, don't let it happen again," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the anti-battle post established by the Duren Sawit Police along with local residents on the side of Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai, RW 01, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, was damaged by the crowd of brawlers on Monday, November 18, evening.

The anti-fight post was damaged using stones and firecrackers. The window glass of the post was broken due to being hit by stones from a group of residents of Cipinang Jagal.
