Supreme Court Information About Zarof Ricar Ever Meets Supreme Court Justice S So Jampidsus Investigators Input

The Attorney General's Office (AGO) stated that information from the Supreme Court (MA) regarding the alleged alleged conspiracy of bribery for the convict Ronald Tannur, Zarof Ricar (ZR), had met with Supreme Court Justice S (Soesilo), which would be an input for Jampidsus investigators.

"Of course all information will be input and material for investigators, including information on the meeting between the suspect ZR and Supreme Court Justice Soesilo," said Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) AGO Harli Siregar when contacted in Jakarta, Monday, November 18, confiscated by Antara.

Although it is an input for investigators, Harli said that the information would not necessarily be clarified by investigators to the suspect Zarof.

"Will it also be clarified by investigators, it really depends on the urgency for the investigation and is part of the need for investigation. We'll see the progress later," he said.

It is known, in a press conference held on Monday, MA spokesman Yanto said that the Supreme Audit Team found the fact that the suspect Zarof Ricar, the former head of the Balitbang Diklat Kumdil MA, had met with Supreme Court Judge Soesilo as chairman of the assembly who handled the cassation case.

The Supreme Court examination team revealed that Zarof Ricar briefly met Soesilo at the inauguration of the honoris causa professor at Makassar State University on September 27, 2024 and had mentioned Ronald Tannur's cassation, but Soesilo did not respond to Zarof.

MA spokesman Yanto said the meeting took place without planning. The two are said to have met in the elevator.

"Based on the results of the examination from the team, (ZR and S) shake hands. Then ask if the case was ( Ronald Tannur's cassation). Then the person concerned (Gung S's judge) did not respond, so it was very short," Yanto explained.

The examination team also found that Zarof Ricar did not know and had never met two other Supreme Court justices who handled Ronald Tannur's cassation, namely Ainal Mardhiah (A) and Sutarjo (ST).

Meanwhile, Zarof Ricar is a suspect in the alleged conspiracy to bribe the convict Ronald Tannur on suspicion of being a broker for Ronald Tannur's cassation decision.

The suspect Zarof was asked by Lisa Rahmat (LR), lawyer Ronald Tannur who is also a suspect in this case, to smooth out Ronald Tannur's case at the cassation level.

Lisa Rahmat gave Rp5 billion to Zarof, who based on records was intended for three Supreme Court judges with the initials S, A, and S. Meanwhile, Zarof was promised a salary of Rp1 billion.

However, the AGO said that Zarof had not submitted bribes to the Supreme Court judge who handled Ronald Tannur's cassation, so the criminal act that occurred was an alleged conspiracy.
