MA: Supreme Court Justice S Was Met About Ronald Tannur's Cassation But Was Not Responded To

JAKARTA - The Supreme Court (MA) revealed the results of the investigation regarding the alleged involvement of the three Supreme Court judges behind the cassation decision of the convict Gregorius Ronald Tannur, in the murder case of Dini Sera Afriyanti.

Spokesperson for the Supreme Court, Yanto said that from the series of examinations carried out from November 4 to November 12, it was found that only Supreme Court Justice Soesilo had met Zarof Ricar.

"From the examination, it was found that only Supreme Court Justice S had met ZR," Yanto told reporters, Monday, November 18.

The meeting of Supreme Court Justice Soesilo with Zarof Ricar is said to have taken place during the inauguration of the honorist causa professor which took place at the Makassar State University on September 27.

At the meeting, Zarof Ricar had mentioned Ronald Tannur's cassation. However, Judge Agung Soesilo did not respond.

"ZR had touched on the Ronald Tannur case but Judge Agung S did not respond to it," said Yanto.

In addition, from the series of examinations carried out, no other meeting was found between the two.

Meanwhile, two other Supreme Court judges, Ainal Mardhiah and Sutarjo, are said to have never met the former Supreme Court official. In fact, they don't even know the figure of Zarof Ricar.

"As for Supreme Court Justices A and ST, they are not known to ZR and have never met ZR," said Yanto.

With these facts, it was concluded that no violation of the code of ethics was found by the Supreme Court judge regarding Ronald Tannur's cassation decision.

"From the examination, no violations of the KEPPH (Ethical Code and Code of Conduct of Judges) were found by the cassation panel in case number 1466/K-Pid/2024 so that the case was declared closed," said Yanto.

For information, the examination was related to the emergence of allegations that Zarof Ricar met an Supreme Court judge to discuss or disclose Ronald Tannur's cassation decision.
