Moto Guzzi Introduces Update On V7, More Modern And Powered Models
JAKARTA - Two-wheeled automotive brand from Italy, Moto Guzzi brings an update to the V7 model with additional power and added new technology following the times.
In addition, the manufacturer has also added the Sport variant to this model which is said to have more advanced technology and will co-exist with existing types such as Stone and Special.
Launching from Motorcyclenews, Monday, November 18, the Sport variant exclusively gets a six-axis IMU system, which allows the addition of anti-lock braking systems (ABS) that are sensitive to bends and traction controls.
This variant has a new USD 41 mm fork suspension that can be adjusted preloaded, paired with a double shock damper which is also adjusted to preload. The rim also has a lighter weight on Sport, reducing 1.8 kg when compared to Stone type.
Turning to braking, V7 Sport has a 320mm dual floating disk paired with a 4-piston radial-mount Brembo monobloc and an upgraded cylinder master at the front.

Driving mode is also presented in this variant with the addition of the 'Sport' function. Then in Stone and Special type, it will have the latest modes, namely Rain and Road.
Front light on the V7 model has been changed to LED units after previously only halogens were available. Meanwhile, the switchgear block has been revised to accommodate additional functions on motorcycles.
Then, there are revisions to the side panel, rear keyboard, and exhaust to complete the changes to the three.
All V7 variants are now getting a change in the 853 cc air-cooled V-twin transverse engine with a standard Euro5+ with an increase in power of 4 percent. Thus, the motor has an output of up to 66.4 dk at 6,800 rpm. The increase was also made in the torque section from 73 Nm to 79 Nm at 3,500 rpm.
The cooling part of the piston is also improved thanks to the latest oil jet system, as well as the potential to increase machine resistance.
The availability time and price of this new motorbike has not yet been announced by Moto Guzzi. However, these motorcycle lovers will certainly be tempted by some of the improvements presented.
