Telegram Launches Largest Mini App Update For Users And Developers
JAKARTA Telegram launched the biggest update for the mini app on 17 November. The messaging platform released a version 2.0 mini app which includes full-screen mode, home screen icon, and more.
Previously, the mini app display on Telegram was not very good because there was no full screen support. No matter how good the graph is, users can be disturbed by this display. To improve gameplay or performance from mini app, Telegram now supports full screen mode.
"Micro apps can now use the entire screen in portrait or landscape orientation allowing applications to accommodate more game genres with extended gestures and interfaces," Telegram said on its official website.
Next, Telegram now supports Homescreen shortcuts to make it easier to access mini apps. If Telegram users like certain applications on the platform and want to access them quickly, they can add their icons via the More menu.
Users only need to click the vertical three-dot icon in the top right corner of the screen and tap Add to Home Screen. After following the stages, the mini-app icon will be visible on Home and users can access it with just one tap.
In addition, Telegram also adds the ability to share locations to mini apps that can make it easier for developers, deliver gifts to the best players in mini apps, share media from mini apps, and create documents or audio files based on Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Telegram also presents a subscription system for developers who want to monetize their application and customization capabilities when the screen is published. Some features can be tried, while other features are still being prepared by Telegram.
