Waiting For Trump's Promise To Create Peace In The Middle East

JAKARTA - President of the United States, Donald Trump, has signaled support for the aspirations of the right wing of Israel. Whereas in his campaign he promised to create peace in the Middle East region.

During the final weeks of the 2024 United States presidential election, former President Donald Trump has expressed sympathy for American and Muslim Arab voters who have been angry with the country's support for the Israeli war in Gaza and Lebanon.

Trump visited Dearborn, Michigan, known as the "mayor" of Arab America. And he spoke directly to Lebanese Americans who were worried about their families abroad.

"As long as my government, we have peace in the Middle East, and we will soon have peace again!" Trump wrote on social media.

"I will fix the problems caused by [Vice President] Kamala Harris and [President] Joe Biden and stop suffering and destruction in Lebanon. I want to see the Middle East return to true peace, eternal peace." Trump was quoted as saying by VOI from Aljazeera.

However, after a landslide victory in the general election, Trump prepares to return to the White House with a group of the most pro-Israeli Republican figures.
