Jokowi: Prospective Leaders Must Be Able To Convince The Community
JAKARTA - The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo said that potential leaders must be able to convince the public that they are capable of leading.
"Yes, we have to be sure that the leader is useful for his people," he said after breakfast with Ahmad Luthfi in Soto Triwindu Solo, Central Java, quoted from Antara, Sunday, November 17.
Asked about the optimism of victory for Ahmad Luthfi in the 2024 Central Java Regional Head Election (Pilkada), he only answered briefly.
"Yes, see later, don't be arrogant. Just look at everything's surveys," he said.
Regarding him accompanying Luthfi in a grand campaign at Vastenburg Fort, he admitted that he was not invited.
"No, no. I wasn't invited, so I didn't come. But later to Grobogan," he said.
On the same occasion, Ahmad Luthfi said that the campaign would convey the vision and mission to the community.

"We will convey about Central Java's potential with several agendas including Pak Jokowi, fellow artists. We will also go to Grobogan, Blora in order to absorb the aspirations of the community," he said.
Meanwhile, on that occasion, Taj Yasin Maimoen and several artists also came, including Raffi Ahmad, Gading Marten, Ria Ricis, Inara Rusli, and Celine Evangelista.
