TNI Commander Agus Subianto Sends Social Assistance To Victims Of Mount Lewotobi Eruption
TNI Commander General Agus Subianto and his wife Evi Agus Subianto sent social assistance to meet the needs of victims of the Mount Lewotobi Laki eruption spread over a number of refugee posts in East Flores Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province.
Commander of El Tari Kupang Air Base Marsma TNI Djoko Hadipurwanto in Kupang, quoted from Antara, Sunday, November 17, said that the aid distributed weighed more than two tons and was distributed immediately on Saturday, November 16 afternoon.
"This aid collection weighs up to two tonnes of 265 kilograms," he said.
He said that the social assistance sent consisted of rice, milk, toothpaste, bath soap, mattresses, blankets, sanitary napkins and other needs that could be used by refugees in refugee camps.
Djoko added that the assistance distributed was not only from the TNI Commander but also from the General Chairperson of Dharma Pertiwi and the Chair of the TNI Family Welfare Association (IKKT) Evi Agus Subianto.
"After the aid arrived, we immediately distributed it to the victims of the eruption," he said.
Meanwhile, Commander of Korem 161/Wira Sakti Brigadier General Joao Xavier Barreto Nunes was found on the sidelines of transporting the social assistance to a truck belonging to the TNI, he said the assistance after arriving was immediately distributed to the refugees.

"So thank you especially to the Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces and the mother of the General Chairperson of Dharma Pertiwi and the Chair of the IKKT who have provided assistance to refugees due to the eruption of Mount Lewotobi Laki," he said.
He said that the assistance that had just been sent was part of the assistance that had previously been distributed by the TNI Commander directly a few days ago.
He hopes that the aid distributed can help the community or victims of the eruption of Mount Lewotobi in a number of refugee posts.
