Association Of Indonesian Music Promoters Opens Voice Regarding The Cancellation Of Dua Lipa Concerts In Jakarta
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Music Promoter Association (APMI) finally opened its voice regarding the cancellation of the Dua Lipa concert in Jakarta which was supposed to take place at the Indonesia Arena on November 9.
In this case, APMI is an association under the protection of PK Entertainment as a promoter for the concert.
Through the official Instagram account, APMI started its statement by expressing concern and appreciation to the promoters who immediately carried out the refund process for ticket holders.
"We appreciate the efforts of PK Entertainment as the organizer who has committed to carrying out the refund process according to applicable procedures and in the shortest possible time," read APMI's statement, quoted on Sunday, November 17.
As of November 15, it was stated that 90 percent of ticket buyers had completed the refund form, and 80 percent had been processed.
Regarding the cancellation of Dua Lipa's concert, APMI in its clarification stated that PK Entertainment had tried its best to meet all the requirements set by the artist, but the stage structure certification that was not in accordance with the certification and security standards of the artist, made the show canceled.
"APMI supports the steps that have been taken by PK Entertainment in trying its best for this concert and Dua Lipa fans," wrote APMI.
