BMKG Estimates That Most Of Indonesia Will Have Light Rain Today
JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in most parts of Indonesia has the potential to rain with light intensity on Sunday, November 17.
"The weather forecast starts from Sumatra Island, for the Banda Aceh area, generally the air runs away," said Bagas Briliano forecaster on the BMKG Youtube channel, quoted from Antara.
Then the potential for light rain occurs in the Medan and Padang areas. Rainy weather accompanied by lightning has the potential in the Pekanbaru area and also Tanjung Pinang.
Light rain weather occurred in the Pangkal Pinang area. Meanwhile, thunderstorms have the potential to occur in Jambi, Bengkulu, Palembang, and also Lampung areas.
"For Java Island, the potential for light rain occurs in Serang, Jakarta, Semarang, Yogyakarta, and also Surabaya," said the forecaster.
The public is asked to be aware of the potential for thunderstorms in the Bandung area.
Meanwhile, light rain weather has the potential to occur in the Kupang area.
Rain with moderate intensity is predicted to occur in the Denpasar area.
Thunderstorms are predicted to occur in the Mataram area.
"Starting to Kalimantan Island, the potential for light rain occurs in the Palangka Raya area," he said.
Rainy weather with moderate intensity is predicted to occur in the Pontianak area.
Thunderstorms are predicted in the areas of Banjarmasin, Samarinda, and also Tanjung Selor.
