Udayana Military Command Receives Indian Army Visit

JAKARTA - Kapoksahli Pangdam IX/Udayana Brigadier General Agus Muchlis Latif received a visit from Delegation Higher Air Command Naval War College (NWC) and Indian Air Force College of Air Warfare (IAF CAW) students at Makodam IX/Udayana, Denpasar.

A total of 39 NWC and IAF CAW Delegation Student Officers led by Air Commodore Sanjay Aswal were welcomed by Kapoksahli Pangdam IX/Udayana along with Assistant Kasdam IX/Udayana.

Pangdam IX/Udayana Maj. Gen. Muhammad Zamroni in his written remarks read by Kapoksahli Agus Latif conveyed that as Pangdam IX/Udayana he welcomed him to Makodam IX/Udayana.

According to him, it is an honor for the Udayana Military Command to welcome the delegates in Bali. Because the meeting was very important as an opportunity to exchange information and build relationships that were based on mutual respect.

"Kodam IX/Udayana has a major responsibility to maintain the sovereignty and integrity of the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Our mission is to protect the homeland, especially in the Province of Bali as well as the regions of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT)," said Agus Latif.

Agus conveyed that the areas under the jurisdiction of Kodam IX/Udayana are Korem 161/Wira Sakti (NTT area), Korem 162/Wira Bhakti (NTB area) and Korem 163/Wira Satya (Bali area).

In addition, this area is famous for its tourist attraction that can attract domestic and foreign tourists. In this meeting, the Udayana Regional Military Command hoped to produce useful discussions and would gain valuable insight during the visit.

Meanwhile, Air Commodore Sanjay Aswal as the Head of the Delegation expressed his gratitude to the Commander of the IX/Udayana Regional Military Command and all the main officials who have received our group and are very proud to be in this honorable place.

"We hope that this meeting can provide benefits or benefit for all of us. This relationship also remains sustainable in terms of handling terrorism or contra terrorism and crimes at sea in this case the handling of pirates and other crimes," he said.

Separately, the Head of Information for Kodam (Kapendam) IX/Udayana, Colonel Inf Agung Udayana conveyed that the visit of Student Officers from Higher Air Command Naval War College (NWC) and Indian Air Force College of Air Warfare (IAF CAW) was an important moment to strengthen military relations between Indonesia and India.

Colonel Agung said Kodam IX/Udayana are always open to cooperation with international military institutions to build joint capabilities, exchange knowledge, and share strategies.

He hopes that through this visit, student officers can bring new experiences and understanding that will benefit bilateral relations between the two countries in the future.
