Wallpaper Warehouse In Jakut Burns, Losses Reach Tens Of Billions
JAKARTA - Wallpaper warehouse on Jalan Muara Baru, Penjaringan, North Jakarta (Jakut), caught fire. The loss reached Rp26 billion.
Head of Gulkarmat Jakut Sub-dept. Gatot Sulaeman said the fire began to be seen at 13.50 WIB. The fire was suspected to have been caused by an electrical short circuit.
"It's true that the Wallpaper Warehouse burned down. The loss was IDR 26 billion," said Gatot in his statement, Friday, November 15, 2024.

150 personnel and 28 units of the North Jakarta fire department were deployed. The fire can be extinguished after more than two hours.
"At 13.40 WIB, the blackout started. It was declared finished 16.04 WIB," he said
Gatot confirmed that there were no casualties in the incident.
