Cool! BCA's GestureCa Technology Wins First Place In AI Driven Bot Competition 2024
JAKARTA - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) represented by the e-Channel & Settlement Services - Operational & System Support team, won 1st place in the AI Driven Bot Competition 2024 competition.
In this prestigious competition, BCA features GestureCam innovation, which implements face-based artificial intelligence (AI) technology and recognition gestures in the Smart Robot Indonesia (ROPI).
With this technology, GestureCam can translate hand gestures into commands that robots understand and identify user profiles such as gender, age, and expression.
Later, the information obtained can be used to adjust robot interactions based on user demographics, in order to provide a more personal experience, as well as provide convenience for disabled customers in interacting with robots.
Based on the assessment, BCA's innovation is considered by adapat to overcome technical challenges effectively, as well as show its ability in terms of programming, overcoming errors (troubleshooting), and providing innovative business solutions.

AI Driven Bot Competition 2024 is an AI implementation race into smart robots provided by Indonesia AI Society (IAIS) and PT Sari Teknologi Global, which is held in a series of AI and Robotic Innovation Expo 2024 activities.
This competition focuses on developing AI and technology in robots to support business development. The competition took place throughout October 2024.
