Submit Priority Program To The Minister Of State Secretary, Minister Of Trade Asks For Presidential Support

JAKARTA - Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Meutya Hafid welcomed a visit with Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi at the Ministry of Communication and Religion office on Thursday, November 14.

"We also said earlier that the Ministry of Communication and Industry has a number of priority programs, including, of course one of the President's directives is online gambling handling. Then the second is a digital space that is friendly, and is also related to connectivity," said Meutya after her meeting with the Minister of State Secretary.

During the meeting, Meutya conveyed the work priority tasks of the Ministry of Communication and Digo, including eradicating online gambling, creating friendly digital spaces, and equitable connectivity throughout Indonesia.

Through the meeting, the Minister of Trade hopes to get special attention from the state, especially President Prabowo Subianto, because according to him, this program is also in accordance with the Asta Cita launched by Prabowo.

"This is then our deposit, our priority which we convey to the Minister of State Secretary so that later we can get priority and also attention from the President," he hoped.

Hearing the request, Hadi also emphasized that the Ministry of State Secretary is willing to help whatever is needed by the Komdigi, especially in terms of regulations.

"We are trying to discuss many of the issues that are being faced by friends at the Ministry of Communication and Digital, and what we can help from the side, maybe regulations or maybe attention and trying to connect with several other ministries," explained Hadi.

Because according to him, to complete all the tasks, it cannot be done alone, so coordination is needed with various other Ministries/Institutions.

"Because basically we can't work alone. This ministry will also have a lot to do with other ministries," he concluded.
