Robinhood Announces XRP, SOL, And ADA Listing

JAKARTA - The Robinhood crypto exchange added a number of new crypto assets on its trading platform. In its latest announcement on November 13, Robinhood stated that it is now adding several digital assets, including Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), Pepe memecoin (PEPE), and XRP. Robinhood listed a number of these crypto assets due to requests from users who wanted the crypto asset.

According to Johann Kerbrat as Vice President and General Manager of Robinhood Crypto, this asset addition is in line with the company's commitment to providing access to the crypto world, especially for those who have had difficulty accessing traditional financial systems.

We often hear from customers that they want more choices of digital assets, and we are excited to continue to expand our crypto offerings. With lower barriers to investing, we believe crypto opens up opportunities for those left behind from traditional financial systems," Kerbrat said.

These four new crypto assets will complement several assets that previously existed on the Robinhood platform, such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Chainlink (LINK), Avalanche (AVAX), and Aave (AAVE). This effort is expected to strengthen Robinhood's position as a crypto exchange that can meet the needs of its users.

In addition to adding crypto assets, Robinhood is also involved in developing stablecoin networks for the company level along with Paxos and Kraken. The initiative aims to increase the adoption of crypto assets whose value is pegged at the US dollar, as well as expand the use of stablecoins in the global market.
