Pertamina Takes Strict Action On Naughty Gas Stations In Yogyakarta
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga takes firm action against a public refueling station (SPBU) that is proven to have violated the rules or naughty in Yogyakarta, in order to maintain services to the community.
Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Heppy Wulansari said the sanctions were issued after the Pertamina Patra Niaga Team conducted an inspection, Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
"In Yogyakarta, there is one gas station that we have imposed sanctions for stopping operations and we continue to evaluate the sanctions because they are proven to have committed fraud and parallel, there are three gas stations in the Yogyakarta area which are also being investigated," he explained in his statement in Jakarta, Thursday.
According to him, Pertamina Patra Niaga cannot tolerate SPBU gas stations that violate the provisions and commit fraud in services to consumers.
Heppy added that at the inspection, the Pertamina Patra Niaga team accompanied by a team from the Directorate of Metrology of the Ministry of Trade and local agencies conducted various tests and examinations such as tera tests and density tests to see the quality and quantity of fuel products in accordance with Pertamina Patra Niaga standards.
This control effort is an initiation of Pertamina Patra Niaga and is part of the preparation of the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year Task Force (Satgas).

"The inspection has been carried out in Yogyakarta and will be expanded to all regions in Indonesia, especially those that have the potential to experience an increase in demand at Christmas and the new year," said Heppy.
As long as the gas station in Yogyakarta is given sanctions or investigations, Pertamina Patra Niaga will maximize so that the surrounding supporting gas stations can meet fuel needs in the field.
