Ministry Of Industry Aims For Added Value Of Creative Economy Reaching IDR 1,347 Trillion Throughout 2024
JAKARTA - The added value of the creative economy is targeted to reach Rp1,347 trillion throughout 2024. The added value of the creative economy in the first quarter of 2024 is estimated at Rp749.58 trillion, equivalent to 55.65 percent of the target to be achieved.
To achieve this, the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) also held a business assistance program in the creative industry to encourage quality jobs while increasing the added value of the domestic economy, according to President Prabowo Subianto's Astacita.
The Director General of Small, Medium, and Multifarious Industries (IKMA) of the Ministry of Industry, Reni Yanita, said that this business assistance was provided to creative industry business actors in the fashion, handicraft and furniture sector, as well as targeting the younger generation carried out in the Creative Business Incubator (CBI) event.
Reni said, CBI is one of the Ministry of Industry's annual programs in encouraging the development of fashion and craft IKM players to advance to class, and in this period there are 30 participants who take part in the assistance of this business class.

"This spirit is in line with the Astacita mission of the President (Prabowo) when on mission number three, namely increasing quality employment opportunities and encouraging entrepreneurship and developing the creative industry. In addition, mission number five is to continue downstreaming and industrialization to increase added value in the country," said Reni in a written statement, quoted Thursday, November 14.
He revealed that realizing these ideals needs to be accompanied by the spirit of continuing to improve and increasing the ability to be able to meet the needs of today's industry.
"So, creative economy actors can continue to develop their business and make a positive contribution to the Indonesian economy," he said.
