Kumamoto Japan Masters 2024: Putri KW's Short Road
JAKARTA - Putri Kusuma Wardani can only make a short trip at the 2024 Japanese Kumamoto Masters, just four days after she made history at the 2024 Korea Masters.
The 22-year-old badminton player was immediately eliminated in the first half after failing to maintain his advantage against Riko Gunji from Japan on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

"Outside of these results, I think this year's trip, the ups and downs are quite satisfying for me," said Putri in a statement received from PBSI Public Relations.
The Korea Masters 2024 which ended at the end of last week was the third final of Putri KW in this year's BWF World Tour calendar, after she reached the same round in a row at China Taipei and the Hong Kong Open.
Putri said that she still had to work much harder with a long target being the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.

"My long target is to definitely appear in the 2028 Olympics. So, from now on I want to practice even harder," said Putri.
The results obtained by Putri made the Indonesian women's singles now just have to hope that Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, who is the defending champion in this tournament.
Before Putri's suffering, Indonesia had already lost Komang Ayu Cahya Dewi. This badminton player from Bali fell against Danish representative Mia Blichfeldt.
Meanwhile, Gregoria qualified for the second round after winning against Japan's singles, Tomoka Miyazaki. In this match Gregoria was still careful because she had just recovered from injury.
