Promise Yakob Sayuri, Perform Maximum For The Indonesian National Team Against Japan
JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team star, Yakob Sayuri, promised to perform optimally against Japan. He even has no problem if he has to mobilize all his energy for the best results.
The Indonesian national team will face Japan on the fifth matchday of the Third Round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Jakarta, Friday, November 15, 2024.
For that match, Shin Tae-yong has called 27 names, including Yakob Sayuri. He also did not want to waste the trust given and promised to perform optimally for the sake of the Indonesian national team.
Yakob Sayuri is a player who occupies the right wing position, but can also play on the left wing. Yakob's presence is in line with the 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 formations that Shin Tae-yong often wears.

With this formation, the role of wing back is very important to help attack and come down while defending.
Aware of his duties in the team, Yakob admitted that he was ready to carry out whatever role Shin Tae-yong asked for even though he had to drain.
"For me, it depends on the tactics given by coach Shin Tae-yong. Whatever the coach gives, my job is to do my best. What do you want to be tired of, but it can certainly bring good results," said Yakob Sayuri in his statement quoted on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.
On the other hand, Yakob also believes that the coach has prepared a special strategy to reduce Japan in this match. The meeting in the 2023 Asian Cup will be a valuable provision for Shin Tae-yong to formulate tactics.
"Certainly tomorrow's match against Japan and Saudi Arabia is not easy for us. I believe I can give my best," he said again.
"If you believe, it will, there will be. I know the coach already has strategy tactics because we've met in the 2023 Asian Cup."
"Maybe there is something the coach has prepared for us. How can we do it in training, we can quickly (understand) what the coach loves. I think it can be maximized in the match," said Yakob.
