BRI Boss Outspoken KUR Recipients Not Entering Criteria To Remove MSME Debt Collection
JAKARTA - President Director of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BBRI Sunarso revealed that People's Business Credit (KUR) is not included in the credit criteria that can be whitened in accordance with Government Regulation (PP) Number 47 of 2024.
The regulation regulates the elimination of bad debts to micro, small and medium enterprises in the fields of plantation agriculture, fisheries and marine farming, as well as other MSMEs.
Sunarso explained that bad credit that can be deleted by books and delete collections is in the form of bank credit or state-owned financing institutions whose credit programs have expired.
Therefore, KUR is not included in the bleaching criteria according to PP 47/2024.
"If KUR meets the requirements or not? KUR is a program credit that is still ongoing, not (including), it's automatic," he said in an RDP with Commission VI of the DPR, Jakarta, Wednesday, November 13.
Furthermore, Sunarso explained, one of the criteria for PP 47/2024 is Farmer Business Credit (KUT).
"Micro-Decent Business Credit Without Administratives (KUM LTA), Small Investment Credit and Permanent Working Capital (KIK KMKP), Canda Kulak Credit (KCK), it meets the requirements," he explained.
He emphasized that bad credit may be removed by collection, namely the principal value of bad debts of at most Rp. 500 million per debtor or customer. Then, the book has been deleted for at least five years.
"Actually, we don't collect something like that, but we need to confirm that this can be deleted and this collection is not detrimental to the state," he explained.

On the other hand, Sunarso ensured that his party supports the policy of removing collections for MSMEs, farmers and fishermen.
Moreover, he continued, this had previously been requested by his party.
"We will definitely support this collection. Himbara, especially certainly supports it because this is actually what we asked for first and then fulfilled it through the P2SK Law," he said.
"Then the P2SK Law is not yet operational, so it is necessary for its derivatives to operate it and that is what now exists this PP. PP 47 we will fully support, but we also cannot sit on the governance," he continued.
