Prabowo And US Foreign Minister Discuss Palestinian Solutions During Dinner

JAKARTA President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto attended a dinner invitation with the United States (US) Secretary of State Antony Blinken at the American Foreign Service Association, Washington DC, Monday, November 11 evening.

Prabowo was warmly welcomed by Blinken. He was waiting in front of the lobby of the American Foreign Service Association building. Prabowo, who came wearing a suit and had a black cap, was immediately greeted by Blinken.

"Welcome, Mr. President," Blinken said to Prabowo while singing in a press release from the State Secretariat, Wednesday, November 13.

"Thank you very much," replied Prabowo to Blinken.

Blinken said at the dinner table that night how important Prabowo's visit to the US was.

"I'm very happy to see you in the United States. I hope you enjoy this visit. And I just want to say at the beginning that we really appreciate this relationship, the relationship that has been around for a long time, with our country for 75 years," Blinken told Prabowo.

Moreover, according to Blinken, Prabowo's visit to the US is very profitable for both parties, which is a form of Prabowo's first visit since being officially inaugurated as President on October 20, 2024, as well as celebrating the 75th Indonesian-American relationship.

"But I think this is very profitable, that you are here, recently inaugurated, celebrating 75 years of relations between our two countries. And this is an amazing way to start the next 75 years. Moreover, you are visiting this crucial moment," continued Blinken.

At the end of his dinner, Blinken conveyed a warm message to Prabowo, hopefully he will be pleased with the dinner and enjoy it.

After dinner, Prabowo also asked Blinken about Palestine.

"What about Palestine? Can you find a solution to this?", said Prabowo.

"We are currently working hard on the problems there," Blinken replied.
