ASUS ROG Phone 9 Chipset And RAM Revealed Via Geekbench, Ready To Debut November 19

JAKARTA - ASUS is preparing to launch the latest gaming smartphone series, ROG Phone 9, globally on November 19. Based on information from the Geekbench list, the specifications and performance of this device began to be revealed, providing an overview of the ability it carries to meet the needs of gamers.

According to the Geekbench leak, the ROG Phone 9/9 Pro has an ASUSAI2501E model number and is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The chipset is equipped with a second-generation Oryon CPU and an upgraded Adreno GPU. The chip provides sharper graphic performance, better power efficiency, and a smoother gaming experience.

Geekbench also revealed that the ROG Phone 9 will come with RAM up to 24GB and run Android 15 as its built-in operating system. With a large RAM capacity, this device is designed to handle heavy games and multitasking smoothly.

In the Core ML Neural Engine Inference test, this device scored 1,812, demonstrating its ability to handle machine learning tasks, which can improve AI-based features in games and device optimization.

Design Details

The rear of the ROG Phone 9 features the ROG logo without RGB lighting, but is equipped with an "Anime Vision" LED panel featuring new ROG text, providing a unique visual appeal for gamers. There are also rumors that this device will have a screen with a refresh rate of 185Hz.

The ROG Phone 9 maintains a pressure-sensitive AirTriggers feature on the right, which has been known in previous models to improve control precision in the game. The ASEA also hints at a more advanced AI feature in this series, which allows real-time gaming adjustments and optimization.

While the battery capacity has not been disclosed, the ASUS collaboration with Qualcomm's energy-efficient Snapdragon platform gives the hope that ROG Phone 9 will have better battery life, perhaps even surpassing its predecessor, the ROG Phone 8 Pro.
