Erick Thohir Ensures 8 SOEs Are Ready To Support Prabowo's Free Nutrition Eating Program

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir ensured that eight state-owned companies were ready to support the free nutritious food program launched by President Prabowo Subianto.

The eight SOEs are Pertamina Group (PGN), PLN, BRI, Bank Mandiri, BNI, Telkomsel, Pupuk Indonesia and BKI (ID Survey).

"BUMN ensures it is committed to supporting the vision of President General TNI (Ret.) Prabowo Subianto to realize the Free Nutrition Eating program throughout Indonesia," Erick wrote as quoted from Instagram @erickthohir, Tuesday, November 12.

Erick said the eight companies will realize the Free Nutrition Food program according to their respective fields. Pertamina Group, he continued, will ensure that the need for a gas network of the Nutrition Service Unit is met.

Then, continued Erick, PT PLN (Persero). He said the company would ensure that all Nutrition Service Satan are available with adequate electricity.

BRI, BNI, and Mandiri, BUMN Bank will support the Free Nutrition Food program by providing financing facilities for raw material suppliers," he said.

As for Telkomsel, said Erick, the company will ensure the digitization of the ecosystem for the Free Nutrition Eating Program. Such as the use of Care to Protect during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Then, continued Erick, BKI (ID Survey) will carry out halal certification and kitchen standard certification for the Nutrition Service Unit.

The last is PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero). Erick said the company would collaborate with the National Nutrition Agency in the Makmur ecosystem, especially as an off taker.

Erick said the Free Nutrition Food Program is a big investment for Indonesian children in the future. Given that Indonesia is projected to be one of the 5 largest economies in the world.
