Pork Feed Diet That Becomes Controversy

According to a South China Morning Post report, Kong issued 100 yuan or Rp. 218 thousand rupiah to buy a bag of pork feed, which according to him smells like oatmeal milk.

The pig feed consists of ingredients such as soybeans, peanuts, wijen, corn, and vitamins. According to Kong, pork feed is a choice of food that contains high and low-fat protein.

"Isn't this healthier than fast food?", asked Kong in the video.

He showed his routine of mixing 100 grams of pig feed with water. This made him spend only Rp. 6,500 per day on food costs. However, he had difficulty with the taste of the feed, even looking irreducible when trying to eat it.

"It's too salty! There's an acidic taste too! I can't stand it, I need to drink more water," he said.

Kong later announced that it plans to continue eating pork feed for a week to test its sustainability. However, he also advised his followers not to follow this diet.

"Don't do this unless you are really very poor," said Kong.

Kong's unusual diet experiment went viral on social media. The video got 6.3 million views on Weibo and sparked controversy. Many criticized Kong's actions, to the point of questioning its security.

"It's really ridiculous. How can food intended for pigs meet food safety standards for humans?" commented the netizen.

"Why are you looking for trouble in a world with such a high standard of living as it is today?" said another netizen.

Many social media users criticize Kong, as it can affect young people.

"As a popular influencer, his behavior can affect others. What if a child tries to imitate him? The consequences can be very bad." commented the netizen.

An employee of a pig feed company said pig feed is harmless, but cannot be digested by the human body.

A nutritionist, Chen warned that this pig feed diet lacks essential nutrients such as calcium, iron, and iodine. This can cause malnutrition, fatigue, and osteoporosis in the long term.

Criticism of Kong is getting tougher because he has a lot of followers. The average followers are teenagers and young people who may see his experiment as something exemplary.

While Kong argues this diet is a way to save money. Many worry that this kind of experiment could be harmful to health and send the wrong message to followers.
