5 Junior High School Students In Cianjur Toxic Wild Andrews Can Go Home, Health Center Will Continue To Supervise
CIANJUR - Cianjur District Health Office (Dinkes) said five residents of Cidadap Village, victims of illegal fungus poisoning, had returned home after being declared cured after being treated at the Campaka Health Center.
Head of the Disease Prevention and Handling Division of the Cianjur Health Office, Frida Laila Yahya, said the five victims of poisoning who were still in junior high school in Campaka District, would still receive supervision from health workers for the next few days.
"Everything has gone home with better conditions, but they will receive supervision from health workers at the nearest health center to ensure their condition is completely cured as before," he said in Cianjur, Tuesday, November 12, which was confiscated by Antara.
Meanwhile, related to a wild fungus sample that is used as side dishes to eat liwet rice, it has been sent to a laboratory in Bandung, to determine the cause of poisoning. However, it is suspected that the fungus consumed is toxic.
To anticipate the same thing, he said, residents who find fungi that grow a lot along with high rainfall in various regions, are more observant and do not consume carelessly before confirming that the mushrooms found are like consumption and are toxic.
"During the rainy season like now, many mushrooms are growing, so residents are asked not to arbitrarily pick up and eat wild mushrooms found," he said.

As reported, five residents of Cidadap Village, Campaka District, were poisoned after eating wild mushrooms. The Cianjur Health Office immediately sent officers to the field to take a sample of fungi which was suspected to be the cause of poisoning.
Head of Campaka Health Center Tito Nurtansah said two of the five victims of fungal poisoning had returned home on Monday 11 November, because their condition had improved after receiving treatment at the puskesmas, while three others were still undergoing treatment with conditions starting to improve.
The five victims came to the puskesmas in a weak condition and lacked fluids, because after eating the mushrooms by frying. They immediately experienced dizziness, nausea and vomiting, so the family immediately took them to the puskesmas.
